Arriving back at the quiet house wasn't as awesome as I had envisioned. A few years ago, I would have pictured myself having a little Cherry Coke party to celebrate, but it was just too quiet...and there's no Cherry Coke in Argentina. I recovered quickly, though, catching up on The Bachelor online. Sidenote: Is it me or does Courtney look like Russell Brand?
Last year, Teague was in a class of 20, and this year, with the morning and afternoon classes combined, they decided to split the 5 year olds into 2 classes, each with 20. Some parents literally cried when the topic was discussed. And I mean ugly crying with mascara running freely. They didn't want their child being in a different class than their child's friends from previous years, so the director did what everyone expected

Turns out, 15 of the pack from Teague's old class are together in a new class, and the other 5, including Teague, are in the new class. Not really half and half, but he really doesn't know the difference. You'd think the parents of the pack had cured cancer or something, though, there was a lot of gloating and smirking. I couldn't really participate because I don't smirk well in Spanish. I do have to remind myself that especially here, people aren't used to change, even what others would consider a minor change.
This is a big year for Teague, he's no longer the foreigner (there is a set of twins from Uruguay) and he'll be able to go to Kindergarten a full year here and then continue from Jan-May when we are stateside. Te amo, chico. Suerte!
