Dear blog,
Sorry I haven't been writing to you as often as usual, but we've been busy, and haven't had access to wi-fi. You'll never guess where we are, blog.
We're on our first cruise, and we actually rounded Cape Horn sometime last night! We spent the day before yesterday in the Falkland Islands and will be in Ushuaia (the end of the world!) tomorrow.
We expected that the Cape Horn section of the trip would be a rough sea day or two, but it was, as the Captain said, "the worst he's ever seen in his 27 years at sea", with 30 meter swells and 90 knots of wind. Awesome. To give you an idea, the waves were crashing as high as our balcony, and we're on deck 9!
We will be cruising through the Beagle Channel and the Chilean fjords and will head back to Buenos Aires on December 24th, just in time for Santa's visit.
Can't wait to show you all of our photos! Don't let me forget to tell you about the giant hand in the sand!

OMG- Gary went through that passage with only 20 ft. seas to reach Antartica. You are one daring three some! Safe voyage and return home. I've missed your blog but was placated by the DVD production! It was amazing!
whew...glad to know you weren't attacked by llamas...can't wait for the photos!
