The entire country of Argentina.
Who would have guessed that everyone and their mothers (literally) would be at the one theme park in the country on the last long weekend before Fall begins? Our sense of timing is impeccable.
The drive there and back was probably the best part of the day, mostly because we are always surprised that our car actually arrives unscathed. To better understand, pretend you're disregarding all traffic signals and road rules while driving. Straddle two lanes, and change your mind about exiting on the left or right side a million times, without using a blinker, of course. Make sure you have 8 people in your hatchback, including several children without carseats or seatbelts. Throw in a newborn on your lap for good measure. Then waggle your finger in a condescending "No" as often as possible to other drivers. That is Argentine driving.
The park itself was a lot of fun. The rides for the preschool set weren't crowded at all, and Teague thoroughly enjoyed leading us around the park via his map. He took a train ride and even rode "Collectivo Loco" (crazy bus) by himself this visit. He rode the rocket ship and biplane ride at least 1000 times, and then we all rode the ferris wheel and enjoyed a bird's eye view of the city of Tigre. After some delicious snacks and a whirl on the carousel, we left the busy park and headed to the basket markets in town.
Our annual passes are good until next February, ensuring plenty of people watching visits to Parque de la Costa in our future. Just remind us not to go over Carnaval weekend again.
Quite possibly my favorite billboard ever. "More Ham". My vote would be for more chicken, or the introduction of turkey to Argentina, but this place is clearly an inescapable hamocracy.

Okay, you win. I thought the Mom's driving their SUV's while on their cell phones in The Woodlands took the cake!
