Aside from Buenos Aires, we've gotten to see just a handful of Argentina's highlights. Until now. The family truckster is packed and we're on our way to the north!
Four weeks. In a car. In rural Argentina.
This road trip is our chance to experience a huge portion of the country, what the Porteños call "real" Argentina. This is probably the only time in our lives where we have a large chunk of time and absolutely no rush. We've taken our malaria medication, packed for the desert, the jungle and the mountainous Andes. We even purchased some sensible outdoor apparel (choosing function over fashion puts me one step away from purchasing a mini van). Here's hoping that gas stations are plentiful and corrupt cops are not.
