Two Peas In A Pod

When Teague was just a little guy, I joined a baby playgroup in Tucson. It was more for me to get out of the house and to chat in full sentences with grown ups, but it soon progressed to watching the kids drool all over each other's toys. As the babies got older and began to notice other humans around them, friendships forged. Teague was particularly keen on a sassy little gal named Anna, and they became buddies. The two of them match each other in energy and wit, and are so much fun to watch together.

Thanks to modern technology, Teague and Anna have been able to continue their friendship as we haved moved to Argentina and Miami. Although it hurts my heart to move Mr. Teague far away from what he knows to be home (twice now), having Skype, Vonage, Facebook and email makes staying in touch so much easier than it used to be. Remember those rectangles we used to have to lick and seal? Ugh, so much trouble.

Recently, Anna's family came to Miami for a vacation and, after some girl time for us moms, we spent an afternoon at the beach with them. Teague and Anna picked up right where they left off, and had a great time swimming together. We're so thankful that we've been able to keep up with Anna and her family. Hopefully at some point we'll live in the same state again! I will continue to take pictures each time they're together, because you never know...

Very sweet! And you know how important taking photos is since no one got a pic of you and Sean at age 9 when you first met! You never know!
