Keep On Truckin'

A hefty Cheerios bribe was necessary to get our girl into the stroller and to get shawarma pita sliders into our bellies.

After feeling extremely flavor-deprived in Argentina, we certainly have wasted no time in eating our way through Miami!

All of  the fresh seafood and ethnic fare we missed is readily available, and is even tastier than we remembered. It's lucky that we live in a place where we never have to wear bathing suits.

Recently, our little town started hosting a monthly food truck block party. At first, it was a couple of trucks and 3 picnic tables. Well, it really took off, and now there are upwards of 30 different trucks, with anything from gourmet gelato bars to tasty bulgogi.

We start salivating the day before the event, when we notice the setup beginning to take shape, and we head over as soon as Sean gets home from work the night of the event.

Most people crinkle their nose with disgust when I mention Miami to them, but we are finding our little piece of south Florida to be pretty great. We hope to enjoy food truck nights for many months to come. Or at least until Hurricane season.

Good thing we both own Joey Tribbiani-style Thanksgiving pants.

No matter where we are, there's always a little piece of Argentina close by.

A full moon means two things 1)the crazies are out and 2)it's food truck night!

Next time, we're trying Miss Cheezious's grilled cheese sandwiches.

Ahh! That looks amazing! I would pretend I'm a foodie, but really I just love to eat. Food truck night sounds like my kinda fun!
