Zoo Miami is one of Teague's favorite places, mostly because he is obsessed with the "safari cycles" that can be pedaled around the grounds. He loves them because he doesn't have to do any of the pedaling and he is allowed to steer. (Badly.) If you think the car drivers are bad in Miami, do not drive at the zoo.
Because it has a splash pad complex, lots of shade and even a monorail, we have spent quite a bit of time here. Teague's favorite animal is the New Guinea Singing Dog, and much to our great surprise, there is one here in Miami's zoo. It basically looks like a regular dog, in case you're wondering.
Lego had an exhibit with all kinds of animals in Lego form. Pretty cool!
