You may have heard about that heat wave in New England. Well, we arrived in Cape Cod at the tail-end of it. The temperature was boiling hot...and we're used to South Florida's humidity and heat! The difference is, many places up North aren't equipped with A/C.
The day we took the ferry to Nantucket was a lovely change; rainy and cool! Teague was pretty thrilled to learn that the ferry allowed 4 legged furry ferry riders as well! We had a sweet lab pup sitting with her owner right next to us!
It's quite the place, and very beautiful regardless of the weather!
Sean's cousin, Morgan, is a rockstar! She lives in Nantucket for the summer and gave up her precious time off to play tour guide with us. She took us to all of the hotspots, even a local brewery where there was Whale's Tale Pale Ale aplenty.
Everywhere we went, we saw the letters ACK; on t-shirts, bumper stickers and key chains. I finally had to ask what the ACK hype was all about, and learned that it's the three-lettered airport code designators for the Nantucket airport.

Teague had so much fun with Morgan and she is such a good sport! We would have loved to stay a bit longer and maybe even meet Morgan's acclaimed boyfriend. Next time!
Teague & Morgan at the Shipwreck and Lifesaving Museum.
Nantucket has a Surfside, too!
